Understand the solar analysis

2 min read

Ento's digital assistant analyses your solar panels and notifies you when they are not producing optimally.

Based on the expected production data from the information provided by the manufacturers of the solar cells, Ento takes your consumption, as well as factors such as sunshine hours, wind etc. into the algorithms. In this way, Ento can calculate with high precision whether the solar cells are producing optimally.

Ento's digital solar advisor can use data to tell you if your solar panels are delivering the energy they should. Without you having to install extra meters.

How to use the digital advisor

When the digital solar advisor sounds an alarm, it means that your solar cells are not producing the optimal amount of energy as expected of them.

The yellow line represents the Ento model and the expected energy production from your solar cells. The thin black line represents the energy your solar cells produce. The horisontal black line tells you the average production.

The algorithm tells you if the solar cells are producing the energy they should, and you can use the average production to see if your solar cells need improvements. It will always be individual as to why your solar cells are not producing as they should. We therefore recommend that you take a look at your system and consult an expert if you are unable to solve the problem yourself.

You can zoom in to get a more detailed view of a segment by holding your cursor down on the graph and dragging it over the segment you want to see details for.
